//OOC: Sorry for the simple thread title, couldn't think of anything else more creative. Also, must we role-play joining, or simply state the paragraph? //
"I, Kelandra Trestionn, do desire more than anything else to join the prestigious Bowmen of Laliwyn. I swear to always behave in a way which reflects well upon the Bowmen, to uphold my duty to them always, and to behave in a way which is honourable, brave, just, and wise.
I swear than I will honour and protect the Nobles of the town. I know that a man is made great not by his wealth or his heritage, but by the strength and courage in his heart."

//OOC: Ok, will do, just give me a little bit to whip up the post. I won't make another, I will simply update this one. When I do, I will send you a pm if you don't mind.//
Kelandra strode slowly through the gates, simply in awe of the breathtaking architecture of it all. She, upon instinct, smoothed her clothes down, and slicked her hair back. She fingered the grain of her bow nervously, which was hooked onto the quiver on her back, and was hanging on her left side. A deep breathe, and moment to calm her jittery nerves, then she spoke.
She sounded out, hiding all emotion from her voice as she was taught. Fear rose in her throat, as she shuddered. She was giving her life away, donating it to the army. She knew that the training would be tough, harsh, and would seemingly last forever. She could only hope her past training would help her now. She puffed up slightly, maybe increasing her height a half inch at the most. She tried to look imposing, courageous, and simply calm. A discreet sigh slipped from her mouth, causing a blush to creep slowly up her neck. She sent a silent prayer to the heavens.

General Naithenir looked up from his paperwork at the female elf stood before him, her poise flawless as she stood up as straight as she could. The elf ran a hand through his long hair, and nodded reassuringly at her. She looked like she would be a good fighter, her form was that of a warrior, and her voice was smooth as she spoke.
"Kelandra," He said, "I would be very happy for you to join the Bowmen. You give off the air of one already experienced in battle, and I look forward to seeing you demonstrate your strengths in your training sessions. You may collect your uniform and a simple bow for training purposes from the Armoury, and then continue on to your first class." Relaxing the tone of his voice a little before returning to his paperwork, the General added, "I wish you the best of luck in the Army, Kelandra."

She let out a sigh of relief. "Sir..." She paused, not completely sure of what to address the man, "Thank you so much." She carefully worded the sentence, as not to make a terrible first impression to the elf. "I shall do that right away." She said, turning to walk away from the room.
As she ambled out, sheer joy writted across her face, she let out a whoop of joy, leaping into the air as she pumped her fist. As she sped to the armoury, she realized, quite frankly, that was her only show of pure joy, or happiness since his death. A small grin slid across her face, she was moving on, slowly, painfully, but life itself, was unfolding, revealing what prospects lay ahead of her, challenges, goals to meet.
Her grin widened. Who knows where her life would lead? It would be fun, sticking to the path, sticking to her training, and studies, sticking to the bright side of life.

Zurth walked through the gates, He, put his hood down, and he put his arrow bag in the postion he was use to it being. Zurth stood stright, he looked alot like a wall. Zurth was nervous and didnt know what to say but the truth.
"I, Zurth Saper, do desire more than anything else to join the prestigious Bowmen of Laliwyn. I swear to always behave in a way which reflects well upon the Bowmen, to uphold my duty to them always, and to behave in a way which is honourable, brave, just, and wise.

Zurth stood there as stright as he could.

//OOC: In future, people need to make their own thread for when they join the army or if they come to the HQ for any other reason //[/color] Kelandra had barely left when a second elf approached Naith. He listened to what he had to say, and then nodded his head. "Zurth, you are accepted into the Army. You may go and collect your bow and uniform, and then go to your first training class where I will supervise you in you training. May you do well and prosper in the Bowmen." Nodding to the elf, the General returned his attention to his paperwork and began to examine an old-looking map.

//OOC:ok//
zurth nodded and put his hood back up and walked to get his uniform. Zurth was pleased that he was allowed in, although he did not smile. Zurth thought if he showed emotion his enemy would find a weakness in him. there for zurth showed no emotion.
