Name: Amroth Telrunya
Age: 17
Sex: Male
Race: Elf
Status: Wanderer - He has enough wealth to get by
Affiliation: Fealty to the monarchy
Appearance: Amroth has firey red hair which may give the illusion that he is friendly but that is not the case. His eyes are a deep brown and have a sweet caring look about them. He wears a beautifully crafted bow on his back and an elegant sword at his waist. He wears a hooded black cloak which he wears up when in crowded places. His shirt is a khaki green and he has thick black trousers and sturdy boots.
Personality: He used to be very outgoing and likeable but due to certain events his personality has changed. He now is very untrusting and is reluctant to accept help of any kind. He prefers to be alone and to be unnoticed by most; he will accept the company of those who he finds he trusts, and of his tame wolf. He is not violent by any means. He is more likely to leave a tough situation than to fight simply out of pure uncertainty. He is sometimes a bit stubborn
Strengths: He is excellent with his bow skills and an adept swordfighter. If he needs to he can use his fists and feet in a fight but would much rather use his sword.
Weaknesses: His main weakness is the fact that he is alone and has no-one to rely on but himself. As he's very lightweight this puts him at a huge disadvantage to those who are heavyweight in battle. His last weakness is he's over sensitive. If he hears people making comments about him or teasing him he will not take it as a joke but is likely to get angry or hurt.
Magic: He is able to use small amounts of magic. He can create a faint light with both his hands though it tires him out quickly. But his main magic is his ability to calm people. He can change his voice so it is slightly hypnotic and it soothes humans and animals alike.
Weaponary Skills: He carries a bow and a sword. He is excellent with his bow and can use a sword.
Character History: As a child he grew up in a village just outside of the forest. He was happy and had a caring family but when he decided he could make it on his own and left things took a turn for the worse. He had entered a town of men and the kids around his own age made fun of his striking red hair. This is where his over sensitivity is rooted.
After he gathered enough supplies and money he left for the wilderness seeking solitude. Whilst there he perfected his archery after having serious hunting. He had bought a sword before he left and with all the spare time he had he self taught himself how to swordfight. During this time he found an injuried wolf cub and took it in to care for. When he tried to set it free it refused and has never left Amroth's side unless instructed to. Since then Amroth only ventures into towns for supplies he might need.
Sample RP:
Amroth moved a stray hair from his eyes as he looked back down the mountain. To his surprise they had travelled a great distance over a short period of time. They were at least halfway up the mountain and judging by the position of the sun it wasn't even midday yet. Smiling inwardly he started to walk again.
A few moments before he turned the corner a grey wolf appeared there and looked around inquisitively for its' master. It waited until Amroth was beside him before starting up the mountain trail again. Amroth's eyes glazed over as he remembered the times where he could've held Shimizu in his hands but now he'd struggle to lift him a centimetre from the ground. Shimizu, his wolf, was his only travelling companion and Amroth was grateful for it.
As lunch approached Amroth's stomach growled hungrily and he sat down on a nearby rock. As if by magic Shimizu appeared and Amroth sent him off to track down some prey. This was how they worked together. Shimizu located the food and Amroth bought it down. As he waited for Shimizu to return he took his bow off his back. It was his most precious possession. He ran his finger along the bows carvings and gazed adoringly at it. At least an hour later Shimizu returned holding his tail between his legs and his head hung low.
"No luck then?" Amroth asked before letting out a long sigh
Shimizu pushed his wet nose into the elfs hand as if he were apologising for the lack of food.
"It's not your fault," Amroth started to stroke the wolfs fur fondly, "I should've bought more from the market in Raenfir. Come on if we travel further up the mountain I may be able to bring down a bird."
Yapping in agreement Shimizu started to run up the track again. Grinning Amroth replaced his bow and followed his faithful companion.
