Shadowhall So named because the taller buildings surrounding it mean that there is not one hour of the day when sunlight reaches its walls, Shadowhall is a large hall in the town where people are free to simply sit and chat.

Historic Walks and Side-Alleys Southglass is almost entirely made up of narrow, winding streets. Many of these are of some historic value, and so a silver thread was laid out through the town, marking out the best walks for those who just can't sit still.
